Hi! My name is Britt and I’m a 27 year old girl from Amsterdam. I’ve studied hotel management which shows my love for everything that has to do with holiday accommodations, food, cooking and restaurant concepts. In addition I’m a bit of hippie and I need my peace and quiet during traveling to keep up with all those ever-ongoing new impressions.
My curious and sometimes, annoying perfectionistic nature makes sure that I’m dedicated to find those real gems when it comes to those travel essentials. My heart bursts of happiness when I find the cutest courtyard garden resto with the most delicious snacks in town. Or if I’ve found a peachy hostel with the most prrrretty and comfortable rooms ever.
Since my first solo trip in 2016 to Rome, the travel bug hit me hard. I discovered what a blast it is to make new friends, do a bit of soulsearching and discover places with full focus on yourself. I continued traveling, on my own and with friends and here in this blog you can read all about it.
What you won’t find on this blog are general lists of points of interest. Only those gems where you really need to go to find your bliss, when it comes to sleeping, eat- and drinking and unwinding yourself.
